I had no idea pregnancy came with so many perks! For a while it was just constant morning sickness, fatigue and backaches. Back in February, before the hubby found out we were pregnant we decided to take a trip abroad. We had just gotten back from Hong Kong, both displeased but eager to travel again.
We agreed to make Japan our next destination and chose Hokkaido for a more relaxed getaway. We decided to plan the entire trip on our own and not go with any tour packages this time. So the hubby bought a few travel books, used Korean blogs as his main source and whipped up an itinerary all on his own. We decided to fly with Korean Air since their prices were decent and we’ve always been happy with their service. We considered Jin Air for a brief moment but then I came across an article about a few recent mishaps and that was enough to deter me from selecting them even though their prices were considerably cheaper.
Then March came and we discovered we were pregnant. We briefly contemplated cancelling the trip but then decided to turn it into a baby moon. I don’t remember how but I came upon a post somewhere about an complimentary kit that is offered to all pregnant women who fly Korean Air. May not be much to some but hey it’s free! All you have to do is call Korean Air and let them know you’re pregnant. It’s as easy as that!
Once you board and are seated, a stewardess will find you and hand this cute little pouch over.
The kit includes a pair of socks, a few packets of tea, a cute pouch that says “Pregnant women first” and two tubes of lotion.
I don’t know how many of my readers are pregnant or will be flying Korean Air, but if you are and will fly with Korean Air in the near future, this kit is completely complimentary! Since this is my first time flying pregnant, I was pretty excited to get something for free just for being pregnant! I’m sure there are other airlines out there that probably provide something similar but I just wanted to share my experience with my readers. Hopefully this post will be of help to someone. You never know!
