[Review] Missha Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule

Here’s a quick review on Missha Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule. I figured since I mentioned it yesterday that I would post up a brief review on it today just so you know why I’ve made the jump to Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Sleeping Pack.

I got this along with their Time Revolution Essence some time last year during a big sale. I had been exposed to so many of their commercials on TV and every time I passed by Missha there were crowds of people in there waiting to pay for their purchases. So it seemed inevitable for me not to be courted by them through endless advertising on TV and lures of sale posters everywhere I went.

Anyway, as many of you may already know, this product is a copycat of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair but for a 1/3 of the cost.

Here’s the product description:

This is what it looks like when I've squirted a bit from the applicator it came with.

The product itself is a brownish color but once you apply it to your face it becomes clear.

Here’s the good:
– Paraben-free, colorants free, fragrance free, mineral oil free, alcohol free, Benzophenon free & no ingredients derived from animals
– absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling moisturized and soft
– no breakouts or adverse reactions

And the bad:
– a bit sticky immediately after you apply it but it does dry
– did nothing for my fine lines and wrinkles
– had no whitening effects
– my skin became oilier with continued use
– expensive even at 1/3 of the cost of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

For such a high profile product, I was really expecting something out of it. Of course, I knew it wasn’t going to work miracles overnight but I was hoping for something. I have gone through more than half the bottle and it’s likely just going to sit on top of my drawer and collect dust because I’ve already moved on.
